About

Welcome!

I’m so glad you’re here.

My practice is anchored in mindfulness, somatic (body-oriented) practices, and anti-oppressive work to address unprocessed trauma, relational wounds, old narratives, and how memories are stored in the body.

I firmly believe that what you need to heal already exists inside of you, and perhaps has been undiscovered or inaccessible. I am excited to work together to tune into your inner wisdom and support you in feeling empowered to shape your own reality.

I’m Jillian Flemmig, LICSW (she/they), therapist and business owner of Plumeria Psychotherapy PLLC.

As a multicultural and mixed race immigrant, I honor the cultural knowledge and ancestral wisdom that each of us carries, integrating valuable elements into the healing process as you see fit. I seek to decolonize therapy to foster a space where all your identities and experiences are welcomed. I am committed to my own lifelong work of unlearning and relearning to best support your transformation and liberation.

Outside of therapy, I love spending time outdoors, reading, goofing around with friends, and learning how to knit.

Plumeria

Named after a flower that blooms across nations and is treasured throughout cultures. The plumeria is revered in South Asian, Hawaiian, and Central and South American traditions as a symbol of new beginnings, healing, and strength. In my family’s traditions, the plumeria signifies seasons of change and honoring ancestral connections.

Therapy is a space to cultivate the conditions that best support your growth. There are countless paths towards healing and each person has unique wisdom that they bring to their journey. Plumeria Psychotherapy is a practice grounded in providing inclusive and empowering therapy that honors your totality and believes in your inherent capacity to heal, grow, and bloom.

Education & Experience

I’m licensed in Washington as an independent clinical social worker (LICSW) and have worked in the behavioral healthcare field since 2019. My clinical experience has grown through working with diverse populations in a range of environments. I previously offered therapy services at an outpatient practice primarily working with BIPOC and immigrant communities, at an LGBTQIA-focused community mental health agency where I also co-facilitated grief support groups and offered crisis management services, and with youth and families in school, community, and clinic settings.

  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State

  • Master of Social Work from Seattle University with a sub-specialization in trauma-informed practice

Trainings

I regularly attend trainings to explore new ways to support the people I work with. I love learning and expanding my knowledge and skillset to provide high quality care that addresses the needs and goals that bring folks to therapy.
