About
Welcome!
I’m so glad you’re here.
My practice is anchored in social justice values to co-create affirming spaces that support people with marginalized identities. I work with adults in individual therapy to understand how your past informs your present to get to the root of long-standing patterns and challenges.
Therapy is a place to make sense of your experiences, safely explore your inner world, and (re)connect with yourself. I firmly believe that what you need to heal already exists inside you, even if it has felt inaccessible. I strive to balance validation and challenge to help you feel empowerment to create meaningful changes in your life.
As a multicultural, queer, and mixed race immigrant, I honor the cultural knowledge and ancestral wisdom that each person carries. As a clinical social worker, I seek to understand how power, privilege, and larger systems impact your sense of self and the way you have learned to navigate the word. I also enjoy bringing creativity and lighthearted energy into the therapy space when possible. Outside of therapy, I love spending time outdoors, goofing around with friends, taking on new knitting projects, and painting.
I’m Jillian Flemmig, LICSW (she/they), therapist and business owner of Plumeria Psychotherapy PLLC.
Education & Experience
I’m licensed in Washington as an independent clinical social worker (LICSW) and have worked in the behavioral healthcare field since 2019. My clinical experience has grown through working with diverse communities navigating various intersections of identity across different environments. I previously offered therapy services at an outpatient practice primarily working with BIPOC and immigrant adults, at an LGBTQIA-focused community mental health agency where I also co-created and facilitated grief support groups, and with families and youth with developmental and intellectual disabilities in school, clinic, and community settings.

Here is a list of clinical trainings and educational courses that I have taken over the years:
Plumeria
Plumeria Psychotherapy is named after a flower that blooms across nations and is treasured across cultures. The plumeria can represent a symbol of new beginnings, healing, and strength. In my family traditions, the plumeria signifies seasons of change and honoring ancestral connections. Therapy is a space where we can cultivate the conditions that best support your healing and inner liberation. Each person has unique pathways towards healing and wisdom that they bring to their journey. Plumeria Psychotherapy offers empowering therapy that seeks to honor your totality and believes in your inherent capacity to grow and bloom.
Values & Community
I regularly engage in clinical consultation groups to integrate feedback on how I can continuously grow as a therapist and person. I am grateful to be a part of the Kitsungi Therapist Collective to be in community with practitioners that are committed to liberatory practices of care that honor the humanity of both clients and therapists. I seek to decolonize therapy to foster a space where all your identities and experiences are welcomed. I am committed to my own lifelong work of unlearning and relearning to best support your transformation and liberation.
